In the heart of the Tuscan countryside, just 3 km from the historic center of the beautiful Etruscan town of Cortona, Agriturismo Il Sambuco offers 6 apartments that will host you for an unforgettable holiday. It's situated within a very well-maintained park but at the same time it is close to the major road connections in the area.
The property consists of two buildings that house respectively 4 and 2 apartments. The main building, as far as peasant traditions were concerned, was destined for home and tools shed while the second building was dedicated to the stables. The buildings date back to 800 and have undergone various interventions over the years while retaining the original features such as terracotta floors and wooden-beamed ceilings while combining at the same time tradition and comfort: all the apartments are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, independent heating, free WI FI, fully equipped kitchens and quality furnishings.
The farmhouse offers a wonderful view of the hill that hosts the town of Cortona and is surrounded by a green garden full of flowers and plants where each apartment has its own private outdoor space ideal for al fresco dining. Guests can also enjoy the barbecue and wood-burning oven to prepare their meals.
Inside the park you have the large swimming pool at your disposal (7 x 14 mt, minimum height 1 mt, maximum height 1.80 mt, open from 01 May to 30 September) fully equipped with shower and sun deck, parasols, deckchairs and sunbeds.
