Casa Irene is a modern two bedrooms apartment with private swimming pool located in the upper part of Sorrento, within walking distance (approximately 20 minutes) to the lively centre of the town, where guests can enjoy an abundance of restaurants and open air bars. The main street has all the famous designer labels and the late opening schedule, so that you will always have time for shopping. Meander through little alleyways where and find many quaint stores selling everything from typical Sorrento souvenirs like 'Limoncello' to local craftsman selling paintings and local crafts. Explore the history and museums and capture the amazing scenery.
This 2 bedroom apartment boasts some of the most spectacular views of the Gulf of Naples and Sorrento. A great advantage is the large spacious terrace that extends around the main house with outdoor dining area and pizza oven. Perfect for al fresco dining. From the parking area, approximately 15 steps will take you to the private pool area and terrace which is furnished with patio furniture, pool table and private swimming pool (depth from 1.4m to 2.4m; approx. 12 sq. m; open from April 1 until October 31) with sunbeds. Here you will also find a heated outdoor shower.
From the pool area you enter the house through a private entrance which leads to the spacious kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. From the kitchen access to the dining and living area with sofas, a fireplace and dining table and chairs, direct access to your own large private terrace and outdoor dining area. There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both with Satellite TV and French doors leading to the private terrace. Two extra foldable beds / single sofa bed can be added either to the twin bedroom (in this case the space surrounding the beds is reduced) or to the living room. There is one bathroom with shower. The apartment is fully air-conditioned (except for the kitchen) and it has Wi-Fi internet.
A few steps up from the pool area, there is a one bedroom apartment which overlooks the pool. This apartment is used by a long term renter who does not use the pool or terrace of Casa Irene but passes the pool area to reach the apartment.
The property is about 5 minutes drive away from the centre of Sorrento or 20 minutes walking via a shortcut, with an access road leading to the property which is on an incline, therefore a small car (Opel Corsa size, or similar) is recommended. Because the apartment is located on a hill, we do not recommend it to people with walking difficulties if you do not have a car.

Smoking is not allowed inside the house, only on the terraces.
