This large loft-style apartment, which can accommodate up to 4 people, is located in the old Spanish fortress of Porto Ercole. Dating from the 15th century, the castle overlooks the village and offers a magnificent view of the coast and the surrounding beaches. Inside the enclosure, the occupants enjoy absolute peace and quiet and can wander freely in the gardens or rest and sunbath in the private reserved area called the solarium.
The apartment, located on the ground floor in the former powder magazine of the castle, offers a welcome coolness in summer. Entirely renovated in 2019 with great taste and in a contemporary style, it combines the charm of the past with the conveniences of our time. It consists of a bedroom for 2 people with en-suite bathroom, a large living room divided into 2 parts, a kitchen and an additional bathroom.
The majestic main room, entirely vaulted, is arranged in different living spaces. On the right: a pleasant "sitting area" arranged around the fireplace, and behind a wall, a "TV corner" which can also be used as a "sleeping area", with a sofa bed for 2 people. On the left: a large dining table, as well as an antique billiard table that can be used.
The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen (without dishwasher), internet, Smart TV, and a washing machine. A parking space is available in the moat of the castle.
