Surrounded by 7000mq of Salentinian countryside, not far away from the town of Morciano di Leuca, Villa Madia offers its guests the opportunity of a peaceful and relaxing holiday. The pristine white beaches of Torre Vado, a small gem on the Ionian Sea, are only one kilometre and a half away from the Villa. Just in front of it, you will find an “agriturismo” equipped with a swimming pool and a riding school. After walking for a few metres from the house, you will reach a restaurant with typical food. Villa Madia was born from the idea of intersecting two volumes, each made of a different material, that is white plaster and tuff. Both of these materials were traditionally used in old Salentinian houses. The wide outdoor space is furnished with sun loungers and deckchairs from the 60s that were found in a disused “lido” and were renovated. The porch, furnished with a table and chairs, overlooks a beautiful “pajara”, a typical centenary structure with two metres deep walls and a cistern carved into the rock. You will find a table and comfortable chairs in the north-facing area of the house too, where you can relax in the shade at any time of the day. From the patio, you can admire the bright colours of stunning sunsets every day of your stay. The outdoor barbecue will allow you to prepare delicious grilled food for your dinners. The villa is situated on a ground floor and has a wide living area with a kitchenette, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The whole house is decorated in a way that shows a great attention to detail. The outdoor showers will give you the possibility to freshen up while completely surrounded by nature. Local materials were used to guarantee harmony with the surrounding environment.
