Positive: Our stay at Teresan was exceptional. The apartment was excellent with all amenities needed and also extremely clean. We had an apartment with two balconies, one with an amazing view of Mount Etna and the sea on the other. We could actually see Mount Etna erupting from our balcony. The apartment was spacious with air conditioning. A highlight was the pool area. A lovely salt water pool with ample sun loungers and umbrellas. There is also a lifeguard on duty at all times. The pool bar was excellent, serving a range of food and drinks including fantastic granita and brioche. It was also very reasonably priced. The apartment is a great base for exploring the east coast of Sicily. Only 30 mins from Taormina and around 45 from Catania. We visited many of the local sights including Mount Etna, Giardini Naxos, Isola Bella, Savoca, Forza D'Agro, Siracusa, Ortigia and Messina. There are plenty of restaurants in the local towns of Fondachello and Riposto. All within around a 20 minute walk. Fabulous seafood restaurants and many of the towns have live music. The local beaches are also very close (5 minute walk). Mixture of pebbles and sand so shoes are recommended. I have to mention the staff - they are just lovely and so helpful with everything. We didn't speak much Italian but that was never a problem. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and we were also gifted some homemade pesto - the best I've ever had! Please do not hesitate to book this accommodation. I highly recommend - it is a real home from home and you will not be disappointed.
